Oliver Remke

“Since September 2011, I have been a member of the spring team working as a Senior Sales Manager for the Zukunft Personal brand. My role involves selling stand space, sponsoring and advertising. Looking after customers at the trade fairs is an important part of my job. I really enjoy direct customer contact as I see myself as a service provider and like providing assistance. Ultimately, customers and exhibitors need to be well-advised. I really like working with the people in my area.”

“I started my apprenticeship with spring as an office administrator in the autumn of 2003. That was my first experience with the organisation of trade fairs and even in the first weeks it was clear to me how exciting and varied this can be. During my two and half years apprenticeship I was given different tasks including drafting business letters, creating various advertising material, writing web pages, preparing hall floorplans, talking to customers on the phone or on-site at the trade fairs and many other interesting activities. There’s no better feeling than standing at a trade fair and seeing the results of a year’s work – pure motivation! It makes work more fun when you’re supported by colleagues and work in a great team who are skilled, ready to help and dedicated; you can really rely on them. I am proud to have done my apprenticeship with spring and am pleased to be now working as media cooperations manager.”

“I have been working for spring since December 2013 and I’m currently the director for Zukunft Personal Austria in Vienna. I studied “Tourism & Travel Management” and was able to gain work experience in project management at several companies and in individual projects in the event business. The diverse tasks of organisation, sales, cooperation management and visitor services make work at spring extraordinary and rich in variety. It takes a real all-rounder. A special highlight was being able to experience the trade fair live on-site after a year-long preparation. What I value most at spring are the cooperative colleagues, the mutual motivation as well as the continuous project development resulting in opportunities for personal growth — and, last but not least, the fantastic coffee machine in the kitchen.”
